5 FEB 2017 / I actually have three travel backlogs to post, and Im gonna start w Batam first! (there's still Penang from Dec last year and my HK solo trip five months ago) To be really honest, this Batam day trip with the ohana had been those kind of trips whereby you just follow your fam around coz you know there won't be anything to worry about (serious throwback to my teenage years when I really did that ???) ..... I mean, it's really rare (given that I almost always plan my own itinerary now) but I had no idea where exactly I was throughout the whole trip! (and I doubt any one of my fam knew) But what I do know is - we did some praying, had some decent seafood at Kelong 188 Restaurant LMAO, played go-kart (omg mine went super slow I think they gave me some beginner's kart), shot touristy pictures at Barelang Bridge, did some shopping at Idk which mall, had authentic Indonesian fare for dinner before departing for home at 7:30pm!
^ Used to gym at HarbourFront Centre and their treadmills overlook this sea view I liked watching those ferries come and go whilst contemplating life's questions at a speed of like 7.3km/h hahaha, so it's quite something that I finally got on one of those watercrafts heading for somewhere myself, not just wondering where other people were headed for or where they had came back from
