Two weeks into my third year of study in NTU and I hadn't missed a single class, which says alot about my renewed passion for the cultural accumulation of knowledge! (Sheez that's so holy scholarly) Reading three chinese mods, one liberal studies mod, one human resource mod, and one communications mod - fairly spread out across various disciplines, which I like. Also damn love my four days school week timetable because really, who doesn't love long weekends huh.
The past two weeks I had celebrated Dad's 48th at red star restaurant, bought a rive gauche choco cake for him (rive gauche had been the go-to patisserie these days for birthday cakes), watched two of Taiwan Wang Yu-Lin's movies for school and attended a seminar touching on the conflict between traditional and modern Taiwanese culture, finished the hunger games trilogy (but have been putting off my review of the books on goodreads!), met Kt and Aq up for dinner at ambush which might be our last dinner together before they fly off for exchange, and just today right after school, I spent two hours getting my hair cut (!!) Godma is such da perfectionist (: CNY is just two days away now I don't even know if I can collect my cut out dress in time for Friday. And so many projects slated before recess week I'm actually really tempted to stay in so I can geek out in front of my laptop poring over readings after readings instead of making small talks and whatnots. But for my angpows.. -think twice Zb-
^ Sunday ambush dinner
We were discussing about the possibility of an Inner Mongolia trip (+Beijing) this coming summer break since two of them would have alr been at Peking U so I hope it materializes because I think this will be so much better than spending my bucks on summer studies. Thinking about their grasslands.. sigh just take me there alr.
