This post is ridiculously late for I got caught up in exam revisions followed by the exams itself, some sort of family drama unfolded, in the midst of exams I might add, and not too long after exams ended there was the China trip with Sis, and two days after I had touched down I went for this CEI course with shuyan. It was a five-day course which lasted from 9am to 5pm, so it helped a little in adjusting the body clock I think. Now that I had scrolled through tumblr etc etc I finally can write about April's Electric Run!
Xy and I were pretty darn excited about the run we don't even know why coz we don't do clubs. Must be the infectious energy buzzing at the start line. I have some videos on hand but it's unlikely Im gonna compile them anytime soon huh. The run was okay - it was divided into different courselands which weren't that mesmerizing except for this tunnel which emitted hauntingly green lights, with graffiti on its walls written with, I believe, someone's own lightstick. The fluid glows in the dark, and so it glowed on the walls. I didn't contribute a verse on their walls though.
But the start line was pumping-ly good hahaha even though we waited a near one hour before we got started. Glaring white lights promised a new round of lightsticks thrown from up above. Everyone was dying to catch one, or ten, and also some other stuff. But before that, countless selfies and group shots happening a distance away from the start line. On a sidenote, are monopods reaching commonplace status? Idk they look funny. By 845pm, we finallyyy ran off with Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know, club mix somemore, blasting in our ears.
And then who says Electric Run must run? Becoz we (more of I) mostly walked ✌
